realized how sad my coworkers are. Take for example the department next to mine that cannot figure out how to place the UPS return labels on the boxes of toners that are used in their laser printers. Instead of placing the label on the box and putting the box in the mail room (about 15 feet away) they shove the box under the printer desk and wait for a guy who works down the hall to come around and label them.

When I mentioned to the department head that it was a simple process and they could improve the look of their department's area by not piling up cartridge boxes he looked at me like I was crazy, as if they had time to spend a few more seconds to do something the right way. I have no idea what I was thinking.

fell asleep, the bad news was that I was playing Warcraft with a friend in a place that was a little tough for her. When I woke up a few hours later my toon was, of course, dead. I can only assume the same happened to her but she might have made it out.

I'm sure she will find it funny...

actualy yesterday...

Chased down lawn chairs that had taken flight in the storm at 1 am. The good news was that all of our stuff was recovered before it left the yard. A small wading pool did come for a visit and my mother in law lost her new slip and slide, which reminds us all... put your work away!

was happy to find that no more water had flooded across the house.

Today I...

woke up to Logan saying that the fish tank was making a funny sound. As it turned out the fish tank had sprung a leak and had drained a dozen gallons of water or so onto the floor, which of course ran down to the first floor (since the fish tank is upstairs).

The fish were none too happy when I drained the tank and had to put them in a bucket. Now I just have to figure out what to do with them...

decided it wouldn't be so bad to die hard, as long as it was with a woman.
